Trinity Park

Located in Trinity Park, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Durham, the homeowners wanted to eliminate all grassy areas from their front yard and implement a landscape that blended in with the unique fabric of the community.

The design replaced the existing gravel walkway with an irregular bluestone walkway that echos the formality of the house and contrasts beautifully with the informal naturalistic planting scheme.  A four season mixed perennial planting scheme was installed in lieu of the grass.  A color palette of purples, lime green and chocolates will transition into yellow, whites and shades of pink as the season progresses into Summer.
